Happy December from Design Works International! We made it to the end of the year and to one of our favorite months. December has a magical feel to it, especially in New York City. Christmas tree sellers are starting to pop up on every corner making the streets smell like evergreen. This months free tech wallpaper is inspired by the uniqueness of each tree on every corner. We hope you enjoy!
Design Works International is a lifestyle studio located in the heart of Manhattan that’s been helping to define and capitalize on trends for over 30 years. Originally (and still) a print studio, the in-house artists at Design Works International are busy every day exploring, inspiring, and creating to bring you original prints that are on-trend and sure to sell!
For a designer inspiration is one of the most important parts of the process. It’s important to keep your eyes open, especially in familiar surroundings. One of our designers traveled to England for the holidays and found wonderful inspiration in local shops in her home town. If you know Selina’s work, you can see how these images inspire her.
At Design Works International we love creating Trends Boards that inspire our work in the studio…Vibrations is all about bright, fun colors mixed with substrates like wood and lucite. Our print focus is large scale geometric patterns in one or two colors that can be mixed and matched together creating a bold, yet clean, print and pattern story.
Repetitive tiles are in at Design Works International. We are inspired by soft color textured tiles… a trend that we have been following from ceramic bath and kitchen tiles. Now these beautiful patterns are seen in soft home products to compliment the hard good home sensibility.
TRENDING…Graphic Geometric Patterns on dec pillows, rugs and accent chairs.
